This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our platform, applications, APIs, and related services (the “Services”). By using MScribe, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

From Users & Organizations

Account details: name, email, organization, billing information.
Team and workspace structure.

Meeting & Recording Data

Audio/Video Recordings: When meetings are recorded, the data is processed to generate transcripts, summaries, and insights.
Transcriptions & Summaries: AI-generated text based on recorded meetings.
Speaker Identification: May include metadata about participants (e.g., speaker labels).
Templates & Notes: User-defined AI summary templates and meeting notes.

Integrations & API Data

Data from connected systems (CRM, HRM, EHR, etc.) as authorized by the user.
REST API usage logs, including requests, tokens, and metadata.

Automatically Collected Data

Device/browser information (IP, OS, system details).
Usage data (features accessed, actions performed).

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

Provide transcription, summary, and analytics features.
Enable integrations with CRM, HRM, and EHR systems.
Train and improve AI models (only on anonymized or user-consented datasets).
Generate insights for hiring, sales, and healthcare use cases.
Support, communicate, and notify users.
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations (e.g., HIPAA for healthcare).

3. Data Ownership

Organizations/Users own the content of their recordings, transcripts, and summaries.
MScribe processes this data on behalf of the user and does not sell it.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal data. Information may only be shared with:

Service providers (cloud hosting, speech-to-text APIs, analytics).
Legal authorities if required by law.
Business successors in case of merger or acquisition.

5. Data Retention

Recordings and transcripts are retained as long as the account is active or until deleted by the user.
Users may configure retention rules for meeting data.
After account closure, data is deleted within a reasonable timeframe unless required by law.
